Visteon, which wants to sell two of its four units, could sell its lighting division to Varroc Group of India.
Bloomberg News reported, citing people familiar with the sales process, that a deal could be done as soon as the end of the month.

The lighting unit is Visteon’s smallest, and is valued at around USD150m, but could be sold for between USD75m and USD100m.
Varroc already supplies Visteon and parts for passenger and commercial vehicles and motorcycles to Honda, Yamaha and Fiat.
The global automotive lighting market is estimated to be worth USD9.5bn and, in 2010, Visteon’s lighting division had sales of USD456m.
Neither Visteon nor Varroc have commented on the Bloomberg report.
Last November, Visteon – which came out of bankruptcy in 2010 after 16 months – signed a non-binding memorandum of understanding to sell most of its interiors unit to Yanfeng Visteon, the Chinese joint venture with SAIC Motor.
