“We have not ruled out any of our options,” president of the UAW, Ron Gettelfinger, told the Associated Press (AP) during the break of a meeting at the University of Michigan-Dearborn yesterday (17 July). “I think the attrition package got them where they need to be, and they act like nothing has changed,” he continued.

Delphi, which is in Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection, told the AP it is still committed to the negotiating process.
