Toyoda Gosei‘s North American group plan to establish a new automotive parts manufacturing facility in San Luis Potosi, Mexico to assemble automotive body sealing components. Production should start in October 2008.
The new facility is to accommodate expected growth in the supplier’s North American operations, including any future sales expansion in Mexico.
The new company called Toyoda Gosei Automotive Sealing Mexico was officially established last month.
Toyoda Gosei will spend US$12.5m on property, plant and equipment and plans to employ about 500 people by 2010.
