TI Automotive has recently been awarded contracts worth more than $US173m in combined lifetime sales by three global automakers.
Its fuel systems group received contracts during the second quarter of 2007 from General Motors, Kia and Toyota, according to division president Brian Lindsay.
Production of fuel tanks, pumps and modules under the new supply agreements will take place at a number of facilities throughout the world, including plants in North America and Europe.
“These new contracts represent important ‘wins’ for our global fuel systems product teams,” said Lindsay. “They further solidify our position as an industry leading supplier of fuel tanks, pumps and modules.”
