Former Mazda North America vice president of sales and field operations David Zuchowski has joined Hyundai Motor America (HMA) as vice president of sales.

He previously had served in a number of roles at Ford, which he joined in 1980.
HMA has also named Joel Ewanick vice president of marketing.
Zuchowski will be responsible for all sales, sales operations, market representation, field operations and overall dealer relations. Ewanick will handle marketing communications and brand development in the United States.
He had previously served as director of brand planning at The Richards Group, working on Hyundai business. He has also worked in sales and marketing roles at Porsche Cars North America, Saatchi & Saatchi Team One Advertising and Yamaha Motor Corporation.
