Tata Motors is planning to bring its Nano minicar to the US in about three years, a company executive, Prakash Telang, told the Fox Business Network.

According to Dow Jones, Telang, the managing director of Tata Motor’s Indian operations, said that because the company was focusing on ensuring it had the right product for the US, he could only put a rough time frame on its entry into the market.

He said that the car, which is priced from about US$2,200 in India, would probably be more expensive in the US as it would require additional anti-pollution features.
