Front and rear end modules, exterior plastics and lighting and interior systems supplier Meridian Automotive Systems is to close its Jackson, Ohio, factory.
Company president and CEO Richard Newsted said, “Given its declining book of current business and minimal potential for new business, the Jackson facility is not projected to be financially viable going forward. We look forward to continuing to service our customers’ current and future needs from other Meridian locations.”
The supplier has 21 main facilities in the United States, Canada, Mexico and Brazil.
