Mitsubishi has recalled more than 130,000 vehicles in the US covered by two separate NHTSA announcements.
One involves the recall of 77,000 units for defective windshield defroster. Due to faulty blower motor, the defroster might not run. The recall affects 2011 Outlander Sport, 2010-2011 Lancer Evolution, 2010-2011 Lancer Sportback and 2009-2011 Lancer models.
The other recall involves around 53,400 units for failure of windshield wipers, tail lights and headlights as a result of an unstable electronic control unit.
This recall affects 2010 Lancer Sportback, 2010 Lancer Evolution, 2009-2010 Outlander and 2009-2010 Lancer.
Mitsubishi dealers will replace the defective parts for free.
