Hyundai Motor is recalling 91,202 Hyundai Sonata sedans in the US to change interior door handles that could cause cuts to the fingers of passengers.

The recall reportedly affects the 2002 and 2003 model year Sonata sedans. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the chrome plated interior door handles may form a sharp edge from damaged plating, possibly causing injuries to the passengers.

The recall is expected to begin in June 2009 and the Hyundai dealers will repair the chrome plated interior door handle free of cost.
