Kim will coordinate and oversee Hyundai operations in North America including those of Hyundai Motor America, Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Alabama, Hyundai Motor Finance Company, Hyundai Auto Canada and Hyundai Translead. He will be based in Fountain Valley, California.
Kim previously was senior executive vice president, international division, of the Hyundai Motor Business Group. He joined Hyundai in 1977.
