General Motors is again allowing salaried staff and retirees to offer cars to non-employees at employee discount.


The 130,000 white-collar workers and retirees can offer the discounts to up to two people each under a deal running until 5 January, Dow Jones said. It has previously offered a similar deal but each worker could only offer the discount to one buyer.


The automaker is currently running its annual year-end ‘Red Tag’ sale that offers range-wide incentives.


“The price you see is the price you pay,” an advertisement currently being run by southern California Chevrolet dealers tells website and TV viewers.
