GM continues to reorganise its marketing unit by appointing heads for global brands.
The company’s Global Chief Marketing Officer, Joel Ewanick, appointed Chris Perry as global head for Chevy.
Tony DiSalle, who is currently looking after Buick marketing in North America, will also head GMC and Buick in China. John Schwegman, who managed marketing for GMC, will look after new vehicle-features team focusing on trucks.
Rick Scheidt at Chevy will head a new team which will coordinate between marketing and engineering units in order to ensure effective representation of brand identity. This team will report to GM North American President Mark Reuss.
