Tenneco has reported fourth quarter net income of US$8m, or 18 cents per share, up from a loss of $19m, or 45 cents a share, in fourth quarter 2004.


Net income rose to $13m, or 28 cents a share, compared with $10m, or 21 cents a share in 2004.


Fourth quarter revenue was $1.1bn, even with last year.


For full year 2005, Tenneco reported record high revenue of $4.4bn and net income of $58m, or $1.29 per share, versus 2004 net income of $15m, or 35 cents per share.


Gentex Corporation, the automatic-dimming rear view mirror specialist, recorded Q4 revenues of $138.3m, a 10% increase over last year.

Full year net income of $109.5m on revenues of $536.5m was off slightly compared with net income of $112.7m on revenues of $505.7m for calendar year 2004.


Earnings per share were 70 cents compared with 72 cents for 2004.
