Delphi has filed information with the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) that values its initial public offering at around US$7.8bn.
Some reports are indicating this is below the vaule forecast six months ago, but a filing from Delphi with the SEC noted the maxium purchase price would be US$24 per share.
Earlier speculation had put a worth of US$10bn-US$14bn for the company.
The automotive supplier has previously said any IPO would be used primarily to fund its operations, acquire capital equipment and repay debt.
