DaimlerChrysler’s Chrysler group has announced several manufacturing appointments, naming four new plant managers to posts that became effective on 1 October.


Michael Orlowski is plant manager – Twinsburg stamping plant in Ohio. He most recently was senior manager – business planning centre. Twinsburg Stamping produces stampings, assemblies and miscellaneous sub-assemblies. Orlowski reports to Warren Miller, vice president – stamping and ASME.


Brian Garrison is plant manager – Kokomo transmission plant in Indiana. He was previously plant manager – Indiana transmission plant 1. The plant produces transmissions for both front- and rear-wheel-drive Chrysler Group vehicles.


Joe Per takes over from Garrison at the Indiana transmission plant 1. He was plant manager – Kenosha engine plant. His new plant produces 45 RFE RWD transmissions for Jeep and Dodge models. Garrison and Per report to Brian Harlow, general manager – transmission / casting / machining / axle division.


Kevin Sell takes over from Per as plant manager at the Kenosha engine plant in Wisconsin. He was manufacturing manager, Mack Avenue engine plant 2. His new plant builds Chrysler’s 2.7- and 3.5-litre V6 engines. Sell reports to Fred Antenucci, general manager – engine / casting division.
