Mascot has produced remanufactured components since 2000 for the ReNEWed programme as the exclusive supplier.
Navistar Parts is a brand of Navistar, which also produces International trucks.
“We’re delighted to gain this re-confirmation of Navistar’s belief in our operation’s quality products,” said Mascot president Glenn Hanthorn.
Last December, ArvinMeritor acquired Mascot Truck Parts, a major remanufacturer of transmissions, drive axle carriers, steering gears and drivelines, based in Mississauga [just outside Toronto], in Ontario, Canada.
ArvinMeritor is maintaining its focus on the strategic growth of quality remanufactured components for end-users.
The company launched its first remanufactured product in 1983 and has repeatedly emphasised the programme’s importance to serving the aftermarket appetite for dependable remanufactured components”.
Mascot’s six Canadian remanufacturing locations — including three in Mississauga and one each in Edmonton, Alberta; Moncton, New Brunswick; and Boucherville, Quebec – as well as its network of logistic centres across North America, provide customers with immediate availability of remanufactured products.
Mascot Truck Parts was founded in 1936 and has evolved into one of the largest heavy duty specialists in North America, rebuilding all makes of transmissions, differentials, and steering gears.
