ArvinMeritor has received a new, long-term, multi-million-dollar, supply agreement to provide remanufactured transmissions and axle carriers to Navistar Parts under the ReNEWed brand.
Mascot has produced remanufactured components since 2000 for the ReNEWed programme as the exclusive supplier.
Navistar Parts is a brand of Navistar, which also produces International trucks.
“We’re delighted to gain this re-confirmation of Navistar’s belief in our operation’s quality products,” said Mascot president Glenn Hanthorn.
Last December, ArvinMeritor acquired Mascot Truck Parts, a major remanufacturer of transmissions, drive axle carriers, steering gears and drivelines, based in Mississauga [just outside Toronto], in Ontario, Canada.
