Apple may be working on an Apple-branded car, according to a report.

A report in the Wall Street Journal adds weight to long-standing rumours that the company is actively investigating an Apple-branded automotive product. The WSJ report suggested that ‘several hundred’ employees are working on the project which is called ‘Titan’.

The Titan project is an electric vehicle that resembles a minivan, according to an anonymous source cited in the WSJ report.

The report also suggested that Apple has hired expertise from the automotive industry to work on the project. Steve Zadesky, vice president of iPhone product design and formerly of Ford, is leading the effort, the WSJ report said.
