Sales of these components for the automaker’s full-size pick-ups and SUVs account for over half of AAM’s annual sales.


AAM expects the scope and magnitude of its role on the successor programme to be substantially the same as on the current programme.


AAM also said that its backlog of new and incremental business launching from 2008 through 2012 has been increased to $US1.3bn in future annual sales.
