One of Britain’s longest-established and best-known logos is getting a new look this year, as exclusively reported by just-auto from the Geneva motor show last month.
General Motors’ UK unit Vauxhall on Monday comfirmed the redesigned griffin with “more dynamic and contemporary look” would make its first appearance on the new Insignia at the British international motor show in London next July. It will then appear progressively on every redesigned Vauxhall.
The first public airing of the new Griffin will be later this coming summer, on Vauxhall’s Griffin House headquarters building in Luton, Bedfordshire, the brand’s home since early last century.
Retailers’ corporate identity will begin to change in August.
