General Motors’ UK brand Vauxhall is to offer customers a Personal Contract Hire (PCH) scheme which it says offers retail buyers a low initial outlay followed by affordable monthly payments.

The firm says that, for example, a new 2010 Corsa SXi is available through the scheme for just GBP189 per month, with an initial rental of only GBP567.

The programme can be based on either a two, three or four year agreement.

Vauxhall says it removes the anxiety of making a cash purchase and suffering depreciation, while allowing customers to replace their car after a set period with no disposal concerns.

As part of the offer Corsa SXi customers will benefit from free metallic paint, VED and Vauxhall Breakdown Assistance for the duration of the agreement.

Other Vauxhall models are also available on competitive PCH terms, the firm says.

“With scrappage now at an end we recognise that buyers will still be looking for low cost solutions to getting into a new car,” said Rory Harvey, Vauxhall’s Retail Sales Director.

“Vauxhall’s new PCH scheme makes this possible while offering drivers the prestige of driving a new Vauxhall with the latest technology every two to four years.”
