UK: Tyre plant workers to start industrial action next week
About 400 workers at a Michelin tyre plant in Stoke-on-Trent, central England, will start industrial action at the end of next week in a dispute over pay, the Financial Times (FT) said.
About 400 workers at a Michelin tyre plant in Stoke-on-Trent, central England, will start industrial action at the end of next week in a dispute over pay, the Financial Times (FT) said.
The FT added that the work force is to ban overtime, work to rule and withdraw co-operation from next Friday after rejecting a non-consolidated pay rise of £650, or around 3%.
