Tom Walkinshaw Racing, the British automotive engineering and racing specialist went into receivership earlier this month. PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC)is handling the firm’s administration and is looking for buyers for the company’s assets.
Reports in the UK motoring press are suggesting that the development of MG Rover’s new Rover 45 could be affected by TWR’s difficulties.
The reports say that TWR had been working on the production engineering and design of the all-new hatchback due in early 2004. Work on the project could now be delayed by several months due to TWR’s difficulties.
