Rolls-Royce has launched its first factory-approved used car scheme.
Except, this being R-R, it’s called the ‘Rolls-Royce Provenance programme’ to offer buyers of “pre-owned” cars “new car peace of mind and [ensure] that only the finest examples of the marque gain the provenance seal of approval”, the automaker said.
Other than the posh name, the deal is much the same as similar schemes offered by far cheaper brands.
Each used car must meet factory-specified criteria and be inspected by manufacturer-trained technicians, including a road test.
Cars must have been maintained according to factory servicing requirements to be considered and are only sold through the authorised dealer network.
