Peugeot’s new 107 city car will be launched in right hand drive form in the UK next summer.

The car, which replaces the 106 here, has been developed and built as part of a joint venture between PSA Peugeot Citroën and Toyota Motor Corporation and will be manufactured at the Toyota Peugeot Citroën Automobiles (TPCA) plant in Kolin, Czech Republic, alongside its two ‘sister cars’, the Toyota Aygo and Citroën C1.

The plant will have an annual production capacity of 300,000 vehicles, 100,000 units each for Peugeot and Citroën and 100,000 for Toyota.

The Peugeot 107 has been designed and engineered on the same platform as its sister cars.

The 107 will be offered with a choice of eight exterior colours – five metallic and three solid colours, all specially created to reflect the individual character of the car.

The 107 range will be available in either 3 or 5-door forms, with a single level of trim and two engines.
