Nissan UK has named 24 dealers to supply and service the electric Nissan Leaf when deliveries start next March.
The outlets will be fully equipped to sell and service the EV from February. The dealers have been chosen to give the best regional coverage and for their commitment to customer service.
All will have a fast charge facility which will allow EV customers to charge their car up to 80% capacity in 30 minutes. This network of fast chargers will mean that over 90% of the UK population are no more than 50 miles from a fast charger.
Following the format used to sell the GT-R supercar at specialist high performance outlets, the Leaf dealers will have a sales specialist, an EV relationship manager (EVRM), who will act as a single point of contact at the dealership for Leaf customers.
The EVRM will be put through an intensive training programme to understand all aspects of owning and driving the car. A dedicated call centre has also been set up to assist customers with questions.
