British specialist van maker LDV has won a contract worth £3.25 million ($US4.6 milion) a year to press and assemble rear doors for the Land Rover Defender.
LDV already supplies the Ford subsidiary’s Solihull, West Midlands factory with Discovery pressings worth £17 million ($US24 million annually.
