Only one week after pledging £130m in investment to it’s Solihull, UK plant, Land Rover is pushing 800 staff to volunteer for redundancy.
Land Rover, the Ford-owned manufacturer, is hoping to reduce its 10,000 workforce as part of plans to turn the profit corner inside 2-years.

Tony Woodley, chief car industry negotiator for the T&G Union, said any compulsory redundancies would be unacceptable.
