Ford’s Premier Automotive Group brand Land Rover has launched an electronic game called Range Rover Sport Tourer, available as a download from UK mobile phone networks.
The company has partnered with Blue Sphere Games, which develops mobile telephone games and services.
Game players ‘drive’ a virtual Range Rover Sport Tourer Supercharged against the clock on a tour of some of the world’s most famous and remote landmarks, including Uluru in Australia and Mount Rushmore in the US. Points are awarded for photographs taken on each trip, together with points for vehicles overtaken.
David Bozward of Blue Sphere Games Ltd said: “We will create a complete portfolio of Land Rover titles for our distribution partners worldwide.”
