Two decades after the Nissan luxury brand Infiniti was launched in the US, it has come to Britain with the first outlet set to open in Reading, in the Thames Valley west of London, on 12 September.

The first UK dealership is operated by Rymco UK, a partnership formed for the purpose by Rymco SAL and Nasser Al-Kharafi, president of the Al-Kharafi Group. Rymco SAL – Rasamny Younis Motor Company is a Lebanese auto retailer established in 1957.

It plans to open more outlets in and around London in the next two years.

Dealerships are also planned in Birmingham, Glasgow Stockport and Leeds.

The first European Infiniti outlet opened in Paris in October 2008 and there are now shops in Barcelona, Madrid, Sofia, Athens, Milan, Prague, Warsaw, Zurich and Geneva, plus Tel Aviv in Israel.
