The publishers behind just-auto are claiming an industry first with the launch on just-auto of what they term a ‘business weblog’. Blogs offer diary-style content of a highly personalised nature and they are growing in popularity.
The just-auto business weblog consists of a stream of regularly updated entries based around the automotive industry musings and daily experiences of just-auto managing editor Dave Leggett.
Just-auto publisher Aroq says that it believes to have hit a first by introducing this feature on a business website.
Aroq’s publishing director Mike Gove said: “We think the online format of just-auto and our other vertical industry websites lends itself to this sort of easily maintained and regularly updated feature. It gives the readers a running commentary on the industry from the editor’s particular perspective – something that should be of value.
“Besides, people don’t want to wait a whole week for the Editor’s Weekly Highlights newsletter to know what’s going on in Dave’s mind!”

By GlobalDataJust-auto.com managing editor Dave Leggett added: “I’m looking forward to posting these entries. I’m a big fan of diaries – from Samuel Pepys to Alan Clark – and I hope that, in our small way, we give the auto industry and our readers something a little different here.”
