Adam Pumfrey is Fiat Auto UK’s new fleet director, and was most recently Mazda Motors UK’s director responsible for fleet and used car remarketing.
In turn Mazda named James Hopkins as fleet and remarketing director to replace Pumfrey. He has just spent two years with Mazda Credit.
Mazda is predicting “modest growth” to between 52,000 and 53,000 units this year with fleet sales accounting for around 35%, according to Hopkins.
The UK importer will continue to avoid mass volume short-cycle business, noting that residual value strength is one of the key foundations on which its business is built.
