UK car makers are offering new incentives to lure buyers into UK showrooms on new models only recently launched.
Ford is already offering a 5.9% (APR) finance rate over 24 months for its new Fiesta supermini, launched just a few months ago. The company is also offering a year’s free insurance on 1.3-litre Fiestas to any buyer 21-plus buyer financing one through its Ford Credit arm.
Citroen UK is offering all versions of its new C3 supermini (a Fiesta rival) bar the 90bhp diesel with £400 cashback while GM affiliate Vauxhall, which has only just launched the mid-sized Vectra, is offering £750 “over book” for trade-ins.
Vauxhall says it has already taken 10,000 orders for the completely redesigned model.
