R. L. Polk & Co, the automotive market intelligence, database marketing and retail consulting company, has appointed Andy Eggleston as the new President of R. L. Polk in Europe, with effect from 1 April 2003.
He will be responsible for integrating and expanding Polk’s European business, which currently includes Polk, Mitac, Global Remarketing and Marketing Systems among its operations.
Andy Eggleston joins Polk from Global Beach Automotive, a software and consultancy company focused on supplying e-channels for vehicle manufacturers and dealers. He previously held positions at Ford Motor Company including Vice President – Marketing, Ford Europe and Vice President – Consumer Connect Europe. He has also been a principal at management consultants A. T. Kearney. Andy has a degree in modern languages from St. Edmund Hall, Oxford and an MBA from the Cranfield Management School.
