A right-hand-drive Cadillac STS line, built alongside the CTS, CTS-V and SRX models at General Motors’ Lansing Grand River assembly centre in Michigan, has gone on sale here in the UK priced from GBP33,995 ($US67,600) with a single ‘Sport Luxury’ trim level and a choice of 330ps Northstar V8 or 315ps V6 petrol engines.

The new STS becomes the flagship of the UK range and its arrival means that all Cadillac sedans sold here are now right hand drive.
The V8-powered STS model has Magnetic Ride Control (MRC) system with ‘performance’ or ‘touring’ modes. The StabiliTrak electronic stability system comes standard with both engines.
UK-market equipment includes full leather upholstery with a choice of three colours, eight-way power seat adjust with memory, heated and ventilated front seats, heated rear seats and steering wheel, dual zone climate control and remote boot (trunk) release.
‘EasyKey’ keyless entry system, push button engine start and a Thatcham Category 1 security system are also included.
