The facility to be launched by Al Fahim Group’s Emirates Motor Company (EMC) will be operational in the Mussafah district of Abu Dhabi in the first quarter of 2009, EMC officials told the MENAFN news agency.


The 1m sq ft site will have a 4,382 sq m showroom, 20,873 sq m service centre with over 250 work bays, 7,196 sq m spare parts warehouse, a multi-storey parking lot and staff accommodation.


With the new facility set to become the world’s largest mixed use Mercedes-Benz operations centre, EMC will evolve into one of the most prominent Mercedes-Benz distributors globally.


Incorporating unique design elements reflecting the corporate identities of both Mercedes-Benz and the Al Fahim Group, the new facility will feature panoramic lifts and glass exteriors.
