Toyota Motor Thailand had to temporarily halt its production at its three domestic plants after the floods affected the country’s suppliers’ operations.

Production was suspended on 10 October.

A senior official told Dow Jones Newswires, that “We can’t tell when we will be able to resume operations; we are now evaluating the situation on a day-by-day basis. Despite the temporary suspension, Toyota is maintaining its local 2011 production target at 680,000 units.”
