Thai car and truck sales rose 1.0% year on year in August after a 1.0% rise in July and a 4.2% fall in June.
Domestic sales totalled 682,161 in 2006, down 3.0% from an annual record 703,432 in 2005, Reuters reported, citing data from Toyota which compiles industry data in Thailand.
