The first customer-ready Chrysler Town & Country has been assembled by China Motor Corp. (CMC) at its plant in Yangmei, Taiwan.
Chrysler announced that it would license assembly to CMC a year ago. The model has been adapted to the local market and included detailed exterior styling changes and adjustments to safety and comfort settings to suit local driving conditions.
China Motor Corporation was established in 1969 and is based in Taiwan. It has multiple subsidiaries and affiliates involved in automotive distribution, parts manufacturing and related services. It is a publicly traded subsidiary of the Yulon Group.
