Vauxhall chief executive Nick Reilly is not expecting any further industrial action at the company’s Luton or Ellesmere Port factories.

Speaking to journalists at the Geneva Motor Show today, Reilly said that the company had made “quite significant breakthroughs” in negotiations with unions in the last week.

Reilly said that over 1,000 workers would be moving from the Vectra plant at Luton to the van and SUV plant next door and that ongoing discussions were taking place regarding the move.
