Renault has given its new Scenic II and Megane coupe-convertible derivatives their first public outing at the Geneva motor show on Tuesday.

The new five-seat Scenic is 8cm longer than its predecessor and features a dash-mounted gearshift and innovative new interior storage features. A seven-seat version, 23cm longer, will also be offered with a fold-away row of rear seats.

The new coupe-convertible has a Karmann-developed folding glass roof that can be lowered in a claimed class-leading 22 seconds.
