AB Volvo expects its fourth-quarter truck sales to rise year-on-year, chief executive Leif Johansson said on Tuesday, according to Reuters.
“The last quarter of the year will show stronger truck sales compared with the fourth quarter of last year,” Johansson reportedly told journalists at a press day in Gothenburg.
He reportedly added, however, that this was not thanks to a boom in the economic cycle but to weaker comparative figures in October-December last year when the company started producing new models.
Volvo in late July said market conditions were starting to stabilise, Reuters added.
