The chairman of truck and bus maker Volvo, Lars Ramqvist, has resigned from the board citing a lack of confidence by several Swedish institutional investors.


Finn Johnsson replaces Ramqvist at least until the firm’s annual general meeting.


Ramqvist became chairman in 1999.
