Scania announced on Monday that its chief financial officer Jan Gurander is to leave the group.

He joined Scania in 1995 as head of treasury after being recruited from a similar position with Investor. In 1998, he was appointed finance director at Scania.

In 2000 he left Scania to become CEO and president of business unit finance at Volvo where he stayed for a year. In 2001 he was appointed CFO and a member of the board back at Scania.

“Jan Gurander has contributed to the positive development of Scania for many years. Therefore, I can only regret that he has now decided to leave the company”, said the truck maker’s president and CEO Leif Ostling.
