Superior Industries International has appointed Andreas Meyer as SVP, president Europe, effective 1 November, 2019.

“Andy has deep experience in operational leadership roles within the automotive sector and a track record of delivering results,” said Superior CEO, Majdi Abulaban.

“We believe his qualifications will allow him to play an integral role in leading our European organisation and will strengthen our global team.”

Meyer has served in operational roles at OEMs and tier one automotive suppliers for more than 20 years. During his tenure in the industry, he has been responsible for strategy development, operational enhancements and increasing efficiency of both direct and indirect processes.

Most recently, Meyer was SVP at Snop/Tower Automotive. During his time with the company, Meyer was responsible for ten manufacturing sites and three technical centres across Europe, overseeing the launch of major customer projects and investments.

Prior to that, he held numerous roles at MAN Nutzfahrzeuge and Hörmann Automotive.
