Ford has unveiled Steven Armstrong as head of its Europe operations following the appointment of Jim Hackett as president and CEO.

Announcing the news, the US automaker also revealed a raft of senior appointments including Raj Nair to lead Ford North America, Peter Fleet to head Ford Asia Pacific and Hau Thai-Tang as chief of Global Product Development and Purchasing.

Sherif Marakby rejoining Ford as vice president, autonomous vehicles and electrification.

Ken Washington named vice president, Research and Advanced Engineering and chief technology officer.

Neil Schloss appointed vice president and chief financial officer, Mobility.

Kenneth Kent named vice president and treasurer.

Bradley Gayton appointed group vice president, chief administrative officer and general counsel.

Jeff Lemmer elected chief operating officer, Information Technology.
