Stellantis has launched what it claims is the UK’s first multi-brand approved-used programme called SPOTiCAR. The new initiative combines ‘approved-used’ models from four Stellantis group brands at launch on a single platform, along with other brands a SPOTiCAR retailer chooses to offer.
Available from launch across the Vauxhall, Peugeot and Citroen networks, SPOTiCAR allows buyers to view potential purchases online, arrange part-exchange valuations on current vehicles and configure a finance package. Customers can also visit retailers to view cars and arrange test drives.
DS Automobiles used vehiles will also be included in SPOTiCAR but will remain a separate brand under the DS Certified programme.
The new website launches on 16 June, giving access to 12,000 approved-used vehicles on a single platform.
Stellantis said the launch “comes at a crucial time for the UK’s car industry, with the latest research finding that while the majority of buyers are increasingly comfortable completing their purchase online, nearly 65% still value the physical experience of viewing and test driving vehicles before signing on the dotted line”.
SPOTiCAR vehicles have a one-year comprehensive warranty cover, provided by the brands’ existing warranty providers. A year of RAC roadside assistance cover is also provided and there is a 30-day exchange commitment.
