Unionised workers at GM Daewoo have rejected a wage deal that was agreed between the company and union leaders, according to reports today (27 July).
A Reuters report quoted a union official as saying workers had rejected a 3.98% rise in base salary. They have, however, remained on the job.

GM Daewoo and union leaders had agreed on the salary package on 21 July.
Unionised workers have so far held two strikes in July. They are after a 8.55% base salary rise and better working conditions.
