Volkswagen is to take its ultra-light and fuel-efficient XL1 on a tour of nine South Korean cities.
Korea is a highly urbanised country and seen as a potential long-term growth pole for fuel-efficient city cars. Volkswagen in South Korea is to take the XL1 on test trials and showcases with a tour that passes through 9 cities until February 16 including Seoul, Incheon, Daegu, Busan, Gwanju, and Jeju.

The tour began in Seoul on February 10.
Volkswagen Korea will also host a Facebook-sponsored event and give out gifts such as mobile coupons and XL1 replica models as part of the promotional initiative.
