Ssangyong Motor booked revenue of KRW760.4bn (US$704.89m), an operating loss of KRW34.2bn and a net loss of KRW31.2bn in the first quarter of 2015.

Driven by the Tivoli, domestic sales increased to 21,107 units, up by 25.7% from a year earlier.

However, exports decreased by 40.6% due to declining shipments to the main overseas market of Russia.

The decline in exports resulted in a bigger quarterly loss in overall sales and revenue which declined by 10.2% and 11.9% respectively year on year.
